40's Vintage USN N-1 Deck Jacket
Developed in 1944 for the US Navy
U.S.N stencil to chest

Super hardwearing outer made of densely woven Bedford Cord style fabric (referred to as Jungle Cloth)
Alpaca lined making it extremely warm
Alpaca collar with button chin strap
Knitted cuffs keep wind out and the warmth in
Gusseted underarms with eyelets for ventilation
Talon zipper still works
Can be fastened up using the buttons, bottom one missing
Plenty of patches/repairs and fraying in areas, looks great
Cool little patch to left arm with torch image
Super high quality, made in the US jacket
Hard to find a better jacket to keep out the cold/wind all these years later
Has some marks/holes as expected for this age which all add to the character
